MARRIAGE MENTORSHIP
PROGRAM
Marriage Investment....
Building a satisfying marriage isn’t simply about commitment and passion. It’s about being prepared for the winters that are sure to come. The early investment in building an exceptional marriage costs a fraction of what it will take to keep a lousy one on life support. The early investment takes less time and less emotional anxiety.

Marriage mentoring is a 12-Week marriage education strategy that helps couples navigate through the ups and downs of their relationship.
There are two categories that can benefit from marriage mentoring. These are:-
Preparing Couples - [Pre-marital]: Engaged and newlywed couples who are preparing for marriage. Mentoring can help couples build a solid foundation by helping them navigate through the critical first years when a couple's level of commitment and perseverance are really tested. (12 sessions)
Repairing Couples - [Post-marital]: Couples who are experiencing various types of distress. Mentoring can bring in a fresh perspective, neutrally and emphasis on the power of 'we' a strength couples have a tendency to forget over time or perhaps never learned. (Sessions are dependent on their needs)

Our Premarital Sessions with FAMU were awesome!
We loved understanding foundations and temperaments. Knowing more about each other's strengths and shortcomings, and why we behave the way we do. The aspect of Christ as the foundation of marriage was a great pacesetter for us.
Our favorite topic was Foundations.
Kathy & Nick
We feel more confident about marriage after taking FAMU Premarital Program. Not only did it help prepare both of us for marriage, but it also helped us grow closer to God. We learned so much that we could never have thought about each other, marriage, and how to honor God in our marriage.
We had a wonderful and an amazing experience.
Our favorite topic was Finances.

First of all, we want to take this opportunity to thank you much for taking us through premarital mentorship. It was so profound, insightful, and an eye-opener. May the Lord bless you.
We didn't know that family background, and individual temperament can break a marriage. We now have the revelation that the enemy uses these to break marriages. These truths have definitely set us free. We used to character assassinate each other. This was out of ignorance. After taking the marriage mentorship program, we put character assassination as a communication boundary.
We have always had this belief that we should have secret bank accounts and not be truthful about our finances when we get married. We are thankful that premarital counseling changed our thinking. Now we have made up our mind that there will be no secrets on money in our future marriage.
Last but not least, from premarital mentorship we learned that love is the cover for marriage and the greatest opportunity in life is to love and not being loved. Therefore, we now pray daily that the Lord may teach us how to walk in love so that we can enjoy our future marriage and be effective in ministry.
